Today we say goodbye to the pupils and staff from Stonyhurst College, who have been visiting Xavier Project in Kampala, Uganda for the last 10 days.We thank Stonyhurst College for their dedication and time over these past 10 days in assisting our staff in Kampala, Uganda with a variety of tasks. We appreciate everything you’ve done!

Stonyhurst is the school that our founder, Edmund Page, attended for secondary school and we have enjoyed keeping a strong partnership with the school.

The partnership involves weekly Skype calls with St Mary’s Hall (the prep school) pupils at the school and our students in Uganda, fundraising events at the school, a soon to launch mentorship programme between secondary students in the UK and Kenya, and of course, an annual trip for a small group of sixth form students visiting our office in Uganda.

On the trip the students visited schools working in partnership with Xavier Project, ran activities in our library for refugee pupils and participated in a range of other other exciting activities.

Thank you so much Stonyhurst! Safe journey back to the U.K.
