This December, we invited over 200 students, who receive sponsorship from Xavier Project, to our annual camp, held in Nairobi. This year’s theme was ‘Be there, be you, belong!’
Over the week, the students took part in a range of life-skills and team-building sessions, with a focus on personal development. The main objective was to build their self-confidence and encourage them to express themselves. Members of our team led a variety of activities, including Mindfulness, Zumba and personal planning sessions. The students also spent a day serving the community, by helping out in children’s homes and at other local charitable organisations.
We were all so impressed with the participation and engagement of the students throughout the week. The students had a fantastic time and will now be enjoying holidays before returning to school in January.
