An evening of exquisite music was held at St. Mary’s Church in Fairford on Saturday 1st October in aid of Xavier Project. The performance titled “Apres Un Reve” saw a harpist, violist and a flutist take to the stage to play works by Debussy, Saint-Saens, Faure, Massenet, Vaughan Williams and Elgar to an audience of 320 people. Attendees enjoyed a brief presentation from Xavier Project’s Founder and CEO, Edmund Page, just before the interval during which everyone was offered a glass of wine.  It was a wonderful evening which has already raised over £7,000 to support Xavier Project’s important work in East Africa and with more donations coming in.

A big thanks to the musicians for all their hard work in preparation for the event and for their spectacular performances on the night. Thank you to all those who attended and/or made a donation to the event, especially our generous sponsors – Investec Wealth & Investment, Butler Sherborn, Coombe Farm Wines, The Letterpress of Cirencester and Charles Russell Speechlys. And a special thanks are due to Angela and Jamie Eykyn and all the organisers for all their efforts to make the evening such a success. We are so grateful for your continued support.
