Two friends take on two mountains in two days to raise £750 for Xavier Project!

A HUGE thanks to Sam Eykyn and his buddy Noah Brash who took on three mountains last week in aid of Xavier Project. They scaled Cadair Idris in Wales on Monday, with Alastair, Sam’s father.  Then on Tuesday Sam, Noah and Alastair climbed Pen y Fan. They had all fully intended to climb Snowdon and had driven to Snowdon on Sunday but the weather forecast was apocalyptic, with snow and thunder both on the cards. So rather than risk life and limb, they headed south to the Brecon Beacons where conditions – whilst cold, and snowing at times – were much more favourable. The boys were brilliant, full of beans and absolutely intent on completing their task.  There are a few aches here and there but the sleep will be deep for a few days, and the satisfaction and sense of achievement, huge.  Sam and Noah were very happy to be raising money for Xavier Project and Sport for Life International, and have very nearly raised a stunning £1,500 to be divided between the two charities.
